This Candy Apple red colored Shelby Mustang Fastback GT500 is the real Muscle-deal and as you probably know these beauty's are pretty rare finds these days.
The GT500 was built by Shelby American through the 1968 model year, before Ford took over production of all Shelby models in 1969. These Mustang's where a huge success because of their sexy styling and sharp performance. Ford never could imagine these cars to be such a success.
These GT500's had the muscle power of the greatest Shelby's build with a 4-speed manual 428 Cobra Jet V8 engine. These engines where based on their super fast "Police Interceptor" cars. All this muscle was combined with a lot of desirable interieur comfort. Because of this, these Pony's became high-performance road rather than race cars.
This Fastback GT500 has a fantastic black interior with woodgrain finish. It contains bucket seats and other GT options like a center console, airco, radio and sunvisors. It also has GT wheels with Sports rims.
