This 1959 Mercedes Benz 300SL Roadster which is an unique original example is purchased on 14 May 1961 by the last owner for the amount of $ 6.350 + taxes, he drove this original untouched car from May 1961 to the end of 1962, the total mileage the car has driven is only 26,274 miles, after a small front accident in 1962 which is still visible on the car under the front bumper, the car went in storage in 1962 till 2013, this unique barn find has been in storage for over 50 years!!, unfortunately, in the last years this storage was quite humid, some years ago the widow sold the car to us after 51 years ownership, unbelievable but the engine is running, for the moment I do not know yet if I keep it the way it is or restore it, for now this car is not for sale. A car like this is nearly impossible to find anymore, most of the 300SL Roadsters are restored.
